If someone you want to connect with is offline, take advantage of our Email feature and leave him or her a note. Reaching out to other members who are online at the same time can be done by Instant Messaging them from their profile, or participating in a group chat in our Chat Room. Talking with someone online when you are is by far the most effective means of communication because it is real-time, and you can go beyond text messages to audio and even video chats if you so choose. All you need is a microphone or a web cam with microphone to have an audio chat with another member, just like an anonymous phone call. Members without a microphone can take advantage of our anonymous phone call feature. Long distance charges may apply so a microphone might be a good investment in this case. If you have a web cam with microphone and you want to turn your audio conversation into a video conversation, simply enable the video. |
